Position Summary
The Senior Accounting Analyst will support the Pharmacy Benefit Manager’s (PBM) accounting organization. The purpose of this role will be to record, reconcile and analyze the PBM’s rebates receivable, payable and reserves. The candidate will also take a proactive role in developing new analytics to provide additional insight into PBM rebates.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Assist in the achievement of an accurate and timely month end close.

2. Preparation of reporting for use in establishing reserves and analytical review. Recommend changes to reserve levels based on analyses to ensure exposure is appropriately mitigated.

3. Complete reports for upper management, finance liaisons and business owners to both interpret results of operations and forecast any necessary changes.

4. Support Internal and External Auditors as they complete the financial statement and internal controls audits.



Required Qualifications

  • 2 or more years of experience in a corporate accounting department or public accounting experience.

  • Quick learner.
  • Strong project management and problem solving skills.
  • Independent thinker with a proven ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively work cross functionally in a large organization with a demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks with varying priorities. Meeting tight deadlines with efficiency and accuracy is necessary.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Team player with strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience with SAP.


Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, concentration in Accounting or Finance preferred or equivalent experience.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$46,988.00 - $112,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
