Position Summary

We are seeking an Executive Director, Analytics Product Management to lead and scale our analytics product portfolio. This leader will sit at the intersection of strategy, execution, and stakeholder leadership, partnering closely with senior executives to identify and capture the highest‑value opportunities through data and analytics products.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned product and analytics leader with deep experience operating at the VP and C‑suite level, a strong track record of building and mentoring product talent, and a modern product mindset grounded in continuous discovery, rapid iteration, and outcomes‑driven delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Executive Leadership & Stakeholder Partnership

  • Serve as a trusted thought partner to VP‑ and C‑suite stakeholders, engaging on a daily basis to shape priorities, align on strategy, and drive informed decision‑making.
  • Translate complex business objectives into a clear analytics product vision and roadmap, grounded in measurable value and enterprise impact.
  • Proactively surface insights, opportunities, and tradeoffs to executive leadership, influencing direction at both strategic and operational levels.
  • Navigate competing priorities across business units with confidence, clarity, and strong judgment.

Product Strategy & Value Delivery

  • Own the end‑to‑end analytics product for the Connected PBM Ecosystem portfolio, a top initiative for CVS health. The Executive Director will ensure alignment with enterprise strategy and sustained value creation.
  • Lead the identification of highest‑leverage value opportunities across analytics, data, and insights—balancing near‑term wins with long‑term capability building.
  • Champion modern product management principles, including:
    • Outcome‑based roadmapping
    • Hypothesis‑driven experimentation
    • Incremental delivery and continuous improvement
    • Clear success metrics tied to business impact
  • Ensure products are designed with customers and users at the center, leveraging data, feedback loops, and real‑world usage to inform prioritization.

Team Leadership & Mentorship

  • Lead, develop, and inspire a team of product managers, empowering them to operate at a high level of ownership and accountability.
  • Act as a coach and mentor not only to direct reports, but also to product managers and analytics leaders across the organization.
  • Build a strong product management culture that values learning, collaboration, transparency, and disciplined execution.
  • Attract, retain, and grow top product talent by providing clarity of mission, meaningful challenges, and developmental support.

Operating Model & Ways of Working

  • Establish and continuously improve scalable product operating models that enable fast learning and reliable delivery.
  • Partner closely with engineering, data science, design, and analytics teams to ensure tight alignment and efficient execution.
  • Balance agility with governance—ensuring appropriate rigor without sacrificing speed or innovation.
  • Foster strong cross‑functional collaboration while maintaining clear product ownership and decision rights.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 15+ years of progressively increasing responsibility in product management, consulting, analytics, or related fields.
  • Proven experience operating in complex, matrixed organizations, with frequent engagement at the VP and executive levels.
  • Demonstrated success leading and scaling product management teams, including mentoring senior product leaders.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect analytics investments to tangible outcomes and value creation.
  • Deep familiarity with modern product management concepts and practices, particularly in analytics‑ or data‑rich environments.
  • Exceptional communication skills—able to clearly articulate strategy, influence leadership, and align diverse stakeholders.
  • Background in management consulting or product leadership strongly preferred.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$175,100.00 - $334,750.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
