Position Summary

The Senior Analyst, Business Analytics plays a crucial role in the Medicaid Provider Implementations & Expansions. This role supports initiatives by working with internal business partners to uphold the integrity and accuracy of provider data via large tasks and projects. The role will perform research by analyzing information, which will require reporting on provider data and utilizing Medicaid databases. In addition, performs data loading and maintenance associated with projects, expansions, and new implementations. Serve as a subject matter expert and liaison between internal departments, managing the end to end implementation process. Responsibilities include analyzing data, validating data, validating documentation, create documentation and workflows, audit data, resolving provider data issues, and supporting process improvement.

Analyzes trends and patterns to identify areas of improvement, efficiency gains, and opportunities for growth. Helps stakeholders make informed decisions by providing insights into potential future outcomes and their associated risks. Applies critical thinking and problem-solving skills to derive meaningful insights that drive business decision-making. Ensures the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of data used for analysis. Perform data validation and verification to ensure the data used in the analysis is trustworthy and meets predefined quality standards.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build relationships, collaborate across functions, and convey information clearly to diverse audiences, including senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

Ability to collaborate effectively across the organization and engage with stakeholders at all levels.


Required Qualifications

  • 5 years healthcare industry experience.
  • Experience interacting with various teams
  • Experience leading meetings and presenting effectively to both small and large audiences.
  • Experience preparing workflows
  • Experience with requirements gathering, analysis, testing and implementation
  • Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, v-lookups to manipulate and pull the correct data and experience with reporting and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
  • Experience with QNXT.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in writing SQL queries and working with data in complex Excel scenarios
  • Experience with automation, data validation, or process improvement
  • Project management experience


Education

Bachelor’s Degree or equal years of working experience may be considered

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$46,988.00 - $102,000.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
