Manager, VBC Analytics
Overview
We are seeking a Manager, VBC Analytics to lead a team responsible for delivering data-driven insights that support Value-Based Care (VBC) performance. This role combines advanced analytics, technical data expertise, and leadership to drive provider performance measurement, cost management, and quality improvement initiatives within a cloud-based analytics environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead development of analytics, reporting, and data solutions supporting VBC contracts and performance management
- Translate business needs into scalable data solutions using SQL and modern data platforms
- Oversee delivery of provider performance reporting, cost analytics, and executive dashboards
- Partner with clinical, network, and technology teams to design and implement VBC programs
- Ensure data accuracy, governance, and alignment across internal and external reporting
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve financial and clinical outcomes
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of analysts and data professionals
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in analytics, healthcare, or value-based care
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data analysis and transformation
- Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or similar cloud data environments (e.g., BigQuery)
- Experience working with large, complex datasets (claims, provider, or healthcare data preferred)
- Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills

The typical pay range for this role is:
$66,330.00 - $145,860.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
