Position Summary
Supports the business by taking appropriate actions, strategies and/or alternatives to meet business needs typically tied to a key Aetna Medicaid practice (project management, business process management, implementation, etc.). Typically manages multiple project and their work streams and/or most complex projects through to implementation. Has full accountability for all aspects of projects and such as onboarding, training, town halls/other meeting deliverables and market specific projects.
Responsibilities
1. Lead projects and workgroups to impact process, system, function, and/or product.
2. Work cross functionally to provide: Provider Engagement implentations, production Issue resolution and support, and functional expertise workgroups.
3. Manage the entire project lifecycle of Medicaid Provider Engagement projects: Includes assessment and interrogation of business needs including product, regulatory/compliance, and policy; planning, design, and development; signoff; deployment, including targeted audience communications; and post deployment activities.
4. Oversees projects to support and/or align the Provider Engagement business unit.
5. Ensures business requirements are accurately defined, documented, and interpreted.
6. Understands implications of proposed solutions or process changes and provide guidance on alternatives where necessary.
7. Collaborative with internal/external constituents, with the ability to work across boundaries to be successful in resolving issues.
8. Travel may be required (approx. 15%).
9. Other duties as assigned.
*This role can reside anywhere within the US Mainland
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years experience of a combination of Project Management and Provider engagement experience.
- 3-5 years of experience related to standards, measurements, technology, systems and processes, including project consultation
- Excellent analytical and technical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple assignments competently, accurately, and efficiently.
- Experience with databases as well as interpretation and manipulation of related data.
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management Certification
- Multiple years proven leadership experience setting strategic direction and influencing change that resulted in quantifiable positive outcomes.
- Experience in managing high line of site project delivery and analysis.
- Proven track record of excellent quality results with a strong Provider Engagement background.
- Proven strong leadership skills managing high performance teams.
- Proven track record in time management and meeting project milestones
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational skills and attention to detail.
Education
Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$67,900.00 - $182,549.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
