Job Description

Overview:
The Director, Investment will be responsible for activating digital and video strategic plan development and all aspects of implementation. This individual will learn and embody Zenith’s vision of Live ROI as a mantra and manage several direct reports.

Role Objectives:

  • Lead planning and implementation for client accounts across digital, social, and video channels
  • Plays a leading role in all aspects of campaign management including vendor liaison and reporting
  • Training/Support for Assistant Negotiators and Negotiators in billing, reporting, trafficking, analytics and research
  • Lead in presentation of data, insights and media to clients
  • Serve as client point of content on Investment, be able to connect and bring in experts from social and programmatic teams and work collaboratively to produce holistic plans
  • Intimate knowledge of consumer habits & touchpoints, i.e. magazine, digital mobile, social, video
  • Craft knowledgeable and relevant POVs that assess media opportunities and place appropriate value
  • Work with supervisors to identify process and training improvement
  • Cross training in online video basics
  • Manage Vendor Billing: insertion orders, monthly billing reports, discrepancy resolution, and reconciliations
  • Assist supervisors in negotiation of Buys, Makegoods, Positioning, Value Add Negotiations
  • Build relationships with vendors to analyze value and applicability of media vehicles for client media plan
  • Create dynamic presentations that effectively communicate to our clients
  • Prepare and deliver buying and or digital trafficking specs and guidelines
  • Continuously drive innovation

Qualifications

  • B.A. or B.S. in Marketing, Advertising or related field
  • 8+ years of digital media buying/planning experience
  • Integrated investment experience across video & digital channels
  • Strong OTT/CTV experience and marketplace knowledge preferred
  • Knowledge of linear planning & investment preferred, but not required
  • Experience with Upfront planning process preferred, but not required
  • Experience planning digital campaigns in entertainment and/or social media verticals preferred, but not required
  • Must have excellent verbal/written communication skills, interpersonal skills, detail-orientation, follow-though skills
  • Must have strong analytical, research, and quantitative skills
  • Must be hard-working, resourceful and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, formulas, v-lookup, conditional formats, pivot tables, etc.
  • Must possess/develop a strong understanding of the technology marketplace including awareness of key publishers, products and trends
  • Experience with MediaOcean (Prisma, MBOX) preferred
  • Experience with Research tools such as Nielsen (DAR), ComScore preferred
  • Experience with ad serving platforms (GCM preferred), ad verification platforms (IAS, DoubleVerify) and Digital research tools (comScore) preferred

Compensation Range: $91,000 - $140,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
