Do you enjoy supporting data architecture to enable business and support partners the ability to improve the associate, leader and customer experience? The Data Engineer, Analytics & Performance Insights supports the Brokerage Client Services Analytics organization by supporting the data infrastructure that makes those insights possible.
The location of this position is flexible. We would consider many of our Regional Center office locations including Smithfield RI, Merrimack NH, Westlake TX, Salt Lake City UT or Covington KY.
The Expertise We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience working with SQL or Data Engineering
- Solid experience in writing complex SQL queries on Oracle (PL/SQL) and Snowflake
- Prior experience with Genesys, WFM or similar call center data platforms is helpful but not required
- Hands-on experience with performance optimization and tunning approaches, SQL tuning.
- Experience working with large data sets
- Experience with ETL strategies, design, and development
- Familiarity with distribution application design and development (Java, .Net, Python) would be a plus
The Purpose of Your Role
The Manager, Analytics & Performance Insights will be working as part of a core team building the discovery and analytics platform for Brokerage Client Services and Wealth Distribution Analytics. This will involve hydrating the data lake and building out data marts using structured data and unstructured data to support operational metrics and analytics. The work will include building out a data quality framework to ensure that data is clean, complete and accurate enough to support near-time analytics and diagnostics across our channels and AI-ready for future use cases.

- You can create and maintain infrastructure and training documentation
- You understand database design and modeling techniques
- Data quality mind set and knowledge of techniques to ensure data quality
- You have a good understanding of AWS compute and database services
- You have good programming skills in JAVA, Python, PowerShell
- You have good database programming skill in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL skills.
- Experience building and deploying applications using continuous integration pipelines and automated deployment tools such as Jenkins, etc.
- Passionate and open to learning new tools and developing with the latest technologies and frameworks.

- Building quality solutions that align with the technology blueprint and best practices to solve business problems by driving design, development, and ongoing support.
- Actively participating in knowledge sharing sessions, code, and design reviews etc.
