The Role

The Director, Wealth Solutions PW Advice Strategy plays a critical role in helping develop our overall strategy and execution plan for PW Advice, a top 25 enterprise priority. Reporting to the VP, Wealth Solutions PW Advice Strategy, the role will work in close partnership across the enterprise, especially with partners in the Workplace. The successful Director will possess a 'one Fidelity' customer demeanor, a collaborative approach, and an open and innovative mentality to work through complex scenarios! The Director will be involved in:

  • Strategy Development: help inform and document the overall PW Advice offering (white space, opportunity, problem statement, solution and important metrics.
  • Problem Solving: solve for key problem statements that arise as we dimensionalize the product. This includes research, analysis, documentation, storytelling and consensus building across multiple teams.
  • Pilot Definition: help inform, define and document pilot opportunities. This includes the what, why, outcomes, learning agenda, analysis, and sizing of the pilot.
  • Customer Journeys: outline key customer journeys across the full funnel from acquisition to retention.
  • Executive Presentations: create content for executive presentations, including being able to simplify and tell compelling stories using data.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree with 12+ years of shown experience in financial services, with focus in strategy and/or consulting and managed solutions preferred.
  • Experienced and proficient in cross enterprise collaboration in an agile, client centric, fast paced environment
  • Understanding of Fidelity’s advice offerings and experience in the workplace preferred.
  • Experienced in driving strategy and implementation for large and complex, cross company initiatives.
  • Able to navigate the organization and build strong working relationships with key partners across Wealth, Workplace, Asset Management, Finance, CKSI and Legal.
  • Can brainstorm and develop solutions and draft scenarios that will inform requirements, the case, roadmap and implementation plan.
  • A proactive self-starter who thrives on taking on critical initiatives and consistently achieving business results.
  • Expertise in using data to inform decisions and drive business success.
  • Strong presentation and persuasion skills to achieve consensus with multiple audiences.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
  • Skilled at storytelling. Able to take in nuanced information and distill it down into a clear, simple story for executive presentations.
  • Innovative, forward-thinker who is not afraid to pursue new ideas and approaches.

The Wealth Solutions Strategy and Planning team is at the center of the Wealth Solutions Domain. The role will partner across the domain, Workplace, Finance, CKSI, Distribution, Legal, Risk and Compliance.
