The Role

Senior Systems Analyst

As Senior Systems Analyst you are deeply committed to improving the value delivered to our customers. In an agile structure you will collaborate with other squad members, squad lead, chapter lead and business and technology partners in various business units across the firm to help establish the requirements for your squad, influence the strategic decisions and help build solutions for your domain. In this role, you will:

  • Draw upon your strong systems analysis skills and a demonstrable ability to break down a sophisticated problem or opportunity and offer solutions.

  • Demonstrate a global mind-set working and orchestrating across distributed teams and management.

  • Work with agile team and planning leads to identify, define and agile tools deployment to ensure work aligns with strategic goals and roadmap.

  • Utilize structured, disciplined, and data-oriented process to identify root cause and solve problems across tools.

  • Effectively communicate progress to senior team. Participate in executive level presentations for internal or external use as applicable to communicate project and portfolio status and plans.

  • Provide systems design/ patterns for multi-tier systems integrations.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Degree in Technology discipline/Business with strong IT focus

  • 7+ years of Systems Analysis experience within the IT field, financial services, or related environment

  • Experience collaborating in a team environment to develop, deploy, and support key applications and features.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, system specifications, and user manuals.

  • Hands on experience with database technologies such as SQL and Oracle.

  • Experience with REST, SOAP, JSON, XML,

  • Experience analyzing the integration of content management with Web-based transaction processing applications using SDL Tridion or SOAP/REST Web services;

  • Experience writing API contracts using SwaggerHub YAML.

  • A proven understanding of the Agile software development methodology

  • Ability to understand sophisticated customer needs, translate them into user stories with concrete acceptance criteria, and drive solution formulation with a multi-functional team

  • Ability to diagram business processes and system workflows.

  • Expertise in conveying technical concepts with internal customers, technical team members, and/or other technical contributors across the organization.

  • Look for opportunities to innovate and take thoughtful risks to get work done

  • Willingness to actively participate in defining project scope/backlog, while recommending solutions to project issues.

  • Provide required technical support to functional team (Product owners, BA) in client onboarding, technical analysis, API testing, etc. triaging system defects in production and non-production environments.

  • Desire to understand web and mobile applications, while having the confidence to clearly communicate technical concepts to the partners.

  • Ability to learn quickly, adapt and thrive to meet the needs of a fast-paced and evolving environment.

Your experience with the following will be a plus:

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, and SQL.

  • Knowledge of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.

  • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and related services.

  • Ability to perform technical analysis of sophisticated Web application development concepts (Spring MVC, Spring Core, XML, CSS, etc.)

  • Working understanding of QA automation
