Sr. Business Analyst
The Health & Welfare Sr. Business Analyst will utilize their consulting, analysis, and domain skills to provide the best outcomes for our client, their participants and Fidelity.
The Expertise We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of industry experience
- 3+ years of Health and Welfare benefits service experience
- 3+ years of experience (and demonstrated competence, depth, and breadth) of professional experience
- Prior client implementation and\or platform migration experience a plus
- Experience in Agile preferred, but not required
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
The Purpose of Your Role
The H&W Sr. Business Analyst is a key member of the Implementation and Migration team that services Fidelity clients. The role provides for the ability to work in a growing Health & Welfare offering, access to scalable technology while continually improving your knowledge of our Health & Welfare benefits administration landscape.

The Value You Deliver
- Align, plan, and implement new product capability delivery with in-flight implementations
- Drive and / or support execution of key implementation activities (example: data conversion load).
- Participate in validation and/or testing efforts to ensure results meet the client and/or product offering requirements
- Collaborating with the Director- Client HealthCare Consulting to define client specific configurable variations to support a client plan and/or administrative requirements
- Performing root cause analysis to identify gaps or trends for continuous improvement opportunities
- Submitting requests and/or assisting with translation of business requirements to technology partners, as applicable
- Crafting training material and reference material for participant services
- Assisting and mentoring the broader team
- Engaging in and/or leading ongoing courses to support continued personal development
In addition to the above, the Testing Center of Excellence (COE) requires the following skills:
- Provide project management for client testing which may include new implementations, migrations, Annual Enrollment, or ongoing client plan changes
- Understand and manage to client testing timelines
- Test case set-up, data mining, and data mocking
- Conduct and lead daily stand-up calls during Business Acceptance Testing (BAT) and Client Acceptance Testing (CAT)
- Manage defects
- Monitor and report on progress
- Troubleshoot and escalate environment issues
- Conduct client testing with business partners
- Identify testing process improvement opportunities
