The Role
The Implementation Team within Stock Plan Services (SPS), brings together significant cross-functional resources to implement new plans for corporate clients and their participants, whether transitioning plans from in-house or one of our competitors, merging or splitting off from one company to another, or any other project related work to support our clients equity compensation plans.
As the Vice President of Client Service Implementation, you will lead one of several teams that will be actively supporting onboarding new clients, projects or testing plans. You will participate in overseeing our team agile methodologies to help create, maintain, and promote continuous process improvement across the team. The leader of this team will be responsible for managing ongoing work pipeline, budgets, and assignments to ensure volumes can be met. The VP of Implementation will partner with their peers to coordinate training and developing associates as well as supporting key business initiatives wherever needed. You will be responsible for a proportionate share of projects in the department and will be expected to recruit sufficiently to maintain a trained, motivated staff capable of performing implementations and/or existing client support.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Bachelor’s degree required. (Advanced degree preferred)
This position requires a minimum of 10-15 year of experience in a combination of sales, marketing, implementation, and/or operations with a minimum of 5 years managing people directly.
Series 7 and 24 are preferred, though not required.
The individual should have a thorough knowledge of the HRO, retirement and or equity compensation market and have proven success managing to a budget and delivering business results.
Strong team leadership and management skills and the ability to work well with various company groups and departments. Ability to effectively lead change.
Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Must have C suite client facing experience.
Experience building an inclusive environment to ensure employees feel empowered to deliver an exceptional customer experience and achieve goals.

Demonstrated experience with time management, capacity planning, and audit controls
Ability to effectively manage risk of the Project Managers by communicating to all internal and external parties, in a timely fashion, any issues that could impact the conversion schedule or result in a change of procedures.
Demonstrate strong presentation and interpersonal skills with both internal and external associates, including the most senior level of management. Demonstrate strong organizational, project management and leadership skills.
Champions the adoption and practice of continuous process improvements from client event learnings and technology enhancements for scalability & efficiency
Provide testing direction and leadership for the client implementation testing efforts.
Oversee group’s internal audit coordination and findings resolution

The Team
This function creates all new relationships as they join the SPS organization. It defines how we begin our relationships as well as support our clients throughout their lifecycle. The team is often the first group to be part of new initiatives and rollouts of new functionality. We continuously strive to ensure we have a full working loop within the business for client adoption and acclimation to our products and services.
