- Fidelity Workplace Investing’s Tax-Exempt (TEM) Product and Strategy Product Area is seeking an ambitious team member with a passion for engaging partners across Workplace, Institutional, Wealth and Brokerage to inform strategic decision-making and initiative delivery critical to growing and retaining TEM’s market share and improving our competitive positioning now and in the future.
- You will be a member of the TEM Product and Strategy Product Area, as part of the TEM Commercialization strategy team within the Product Area.
- You will consult with partners across the enterprise to identify and analyze opportunities, and develop business cases to influence the prioritization of products/offerings/initiatives to ensure that TEM and its partners are delivering the most impactful work for our business.
- You will support product, service model, legal, and technology requirements gathering, roadmap development, and program management for prioritized initiatives to meet customer and market needs.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Experience with multiple BUs, functions, products, and processes.
- Significant business understanding of the firm and working knowledge of agile practices.
- Knowledge of the market and the industry to understand customer expectations, changes in markets, and competitors.
- Ability to build credibility and trust with partners and stakeholders across the enterprise and influence without authority.
- Lead visioning, development, go-to-market plans for future TEM offerings.
- Synthesize complex data from multiple, disparate sources and present analysis, relevant insights, and themes in a simple/clear way.
- Experience with business and systems analysis preferred but not required - must be able to operate in a complex technical environment providing clear requirements to delivery partners and effectively breaking down complex initiatives into achievable deliverables.
- Ability to develop process maps documenting current and future state, system architecture diagrams; and, ability to identify use cases and key points of addressable friction in processes.
- Oversee complex product builds by tracking the status, dependencies, priority, and progress of that work, escalating items where necessary to leadership.
- Demonstrate the ability to balance big picture thinking about our market and industry with a get it done, execution-oriented can-do attitude.
- Understands and regularly responds to feedback.
Knowledge/Industry Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 10+ years of technical and functional experience in agile, product management, technology and/or business.
The Value You Deliver
- Support the development and iteration of product/offering/initiative roadmap for aligned products and services to optimize and meet customer and market needs.
- Build effective business cases inclusive of revenue modeling, pricing, and expenses while setting priority, sequencing and phasing of deliverables, and the go-to-market strategy with key value propositions that reflect multiple stakeholder needs.
- Oversee complex initiative builds inside and outside of the TEM organization, tracking the status, dependencies, priority, and progress of that work, connecting and communicating closely with TEM leaders to ensure business needs translate into requirements that maximize the product impact.
The Team
- TEM provides retirement plan services to benefits leaders and their employees at not-for-profit organizations (i.e., healthcare systems, colleges & universities).
- Our dedicated business unit includes client-facing associates (i.e., relationship managers, communications consultants, financial planners), an analytics team and product developers.
- Fidelity’s hybrid working model blends the best of both onsite and offsite work experiences. Having the majority of our associates work onsite is important for our business strategy and our culture. We also value the benefits that working offsite offers associates. Most roles listed as Hybrid will require associates to work onsite all business days of every other week in a Fidelity office. This does not apply to roles listed as Remote or Onsite.
