Job Description:

The Role
The Financial Analyst is part of a team responsible for the delivery of accurate, high quality financial information for Fidelity’s Fund boards. The Board Finance team works with and supports a variety of customers including Fidelity-wide business unit leaders, and independent trustees. A successful candidate will develop and use their knowledge of the Fidelity businesses and investment products to support the renewal of mutual fund fee contracts.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field
  • At least 2-3 years of professional experience in finance, preferably in the financial services industry
  • A self-motivated teammate who brings energy, enthusiasm, and intellectual curiosity
  • Works effectively as part of a team, and successfully collaborates with business partners
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, working independently to perform tasks
  • Strong written and oral communication skills – can articulate clearly with all levels of employees
  • Proficiency in modeling, presentation, and data visualization tools (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Oracle BI, Power BI)
  • Ability to synthesize large amounts of information into concise, digestible, and actionable stories
  • Ability to respond to shifting priorities while maintaining progress of regularly scheduled work

The Team
The Board Finance team is responsible for providing the Fidelity Trustees with materials and analysis in support of their consideration of the Funds’ contracts with Fidelity. The team interacts with each business division and is focused primarily on the competitiveness of fund fees and the profitability of the mutual fund business.
