Job Description:

    The Role

    The Brokerage Business Expertise & Solution Team (BE&ST) helps support the creation of business capability platforms facilitating the creation of foundational APIs through detailed requirements gathering and product validation. The BE&ST analyst plays a crucial role in Fidelity's product development process, tasked with maximizing product value and ensuring successful delivery. While product leaders focus on strategic direction and market fit, the analyst informs the solution design and translates their vision into actionable tasks for the development team, ensuring business expertise in the development process and overseeing both execution and delivery of the final product.

    Throughout all the phases of Fidelity's product development process, the BE&ST analyst acts as a liaison between the design and development teams and stakeholders, ensuring that the team remains focused on delivering value to the customer and the business. The analyst ability to communicate effectively is crucial to the success of the product development process.

    You will be embedded on a squad where you will provide analysis of our business processes and expertise to support the creation of digital experiences through the software development lifecycle that support our Brokerage clients and associates. You will play a leading role in all phases of digital product management, including:

    • Discovering the right opportunities using data

    • Defining the requirements

    • Designing innovative solutions

    • Supporting client and field readiness

    • Measuring the business outcome

    The Expertise and Skills You Bring

    • 3+ years of business analysis experience delivering customer or associate focused digital solutions of high value

    • Client-obsessed with a passion to solve challenges through a data driven approach

    • Can communicate effectively with engineering teams, translating business requirements and client needs into technical requirements.

    • Experience working on a digital product delivery team.

    • An affinity for technology and knowledge of systems integration technologies and standards.

    • You employ strong story telling skills, conveying the vision and impact of digital solutions using data and visualization

    • Expertise in areas of phone, branch and back-office operations and awareness of impacts of paper, non-value-add calls and manual work to the cost of servicing clients.

    • Experience in root cause identification, process, journey and value stream mapping.

    • Ability to lead multiple analysis projects effectively.

We do this by focusing on the service experiences that accelerate speed to resolution and leverage technological advances in the following areas:
