Senior Manager – Digital Assets Center of Excellence (Strategic Advisory and Accounting)
The Senior Manager of Digital Assets Strategic Advisory and Accounting will play a vital role in the corporate accounting strategy for digital assets across the firm. You will serve as a trusted advisor to our business unit accounting teams as a member of the Digital Assets Center of Excellence, providing guidance on new initiatives, defining accounting policies, and evaluating control environments in a rapidly evolving regulatory landscape. You will engage early in the project lifecycle to ensure accounting and control readiness, and act as a subject matter expert on digital asset-related matters. The team is part of the Corporate Accounting & Controllership group which serves as the stewards of the firm’s financial information, provides guidance on the financial impact of strategic business initiatives, and seeks to utilize a modernized approach to operate efficiently and effectively in an increasingly complex environment.
In this role, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders including audit, compliance, global financial controls, and risk teams to ensure alignment on control expectations. You will also play a key role in developing internal control frameworks, reviewing SOC 1 reports, and continuously monitoring the performance of our digital asset service providers.
The Expertise We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA and/or Master’s degree in Accounting preferred
5+ years of relevant accounting experience, ideally with exposure to digital assets or emerging technologies
Strong understanding of US GAAP and internal control frameworks
Experience advising on technical accounting matters and drafting accounting policies
Familiarity with SOC 1 Type I and II reports and third-party risk management
Passion for emerging technologies and a desire to stay ahead of industry trends
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive strategic outcomes
Experience participating in or leading Accounting or Finance transformation efforts preferred
Experience with advanced analytics, creating Accounting or Finance dashboards and management reports, and giving stakeholder presentations is a plus

Recognized as a subject matter expert on accounting and control considerations for new initiatives
Strong collaboration skills to work with audit, compliance, and risk teams to align on control expectations
Experience in developing internal control frameworks and process documentation for digital asset operations preferred
Proficient in drafting and updating accounting policies aligned with evolving standards
Effective communicator ensuring policies are clearly understood across accounting teams
Knowledgeable in reviewing SOC 1 Type I and II reports for digital asset service providers
Ability to identify control gaps, coordinate remediation efforts, and maintain a risk register

Corporate accounting plays a key role in protecting Fidelity’s assets and providing accurate and reliable financial information for our business and the overall Firm. We work collaboratively with leaders across the organization, including leaders in our core business units and other functional groups, such as Tax, Treasury, Legal, and Risk.
The base salary range for this position is $89,000-$150,000 per year.Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
