Job Description:
The Role
The Vice President for Product Marketing in Stock Plan Services & Nonqual (SPSNQ) will lead a team accountable for development of marketing strategies, and execution of our external go-to-market activities, to drive awareness, adoption and utilization of product features and capabilities.
You will partner closely with product management, sales & client service teams and other marketing leaders and teams across SPSNQ. You will be a member of the SPS Marketing, Communications & Insights leadership team working closely with peers, modeling “one team” culture and operating with a bias toward action and results.
Key areas of focus:
Drive development of comprehensive go-to-market strategies, and execution of multi-channel initiatives, for product launches and enhancements
Understand market & customer insights and competitive landscape to inform marketing strategies and tactics
Build compelling product positioning and messaging that effectively communicates the value to target audiences
Advance digital-led sponsor education experiences as part of integrated plans
Collaborate with peers and partners to align strategies and connect programs with relevant initiatives to maximize resources and impact
Lead a team of marketing & education professionals defining deliverables, addressing barriers and providing guidance and support to achieve goals
Define & track measures of effectiveness of product marketing initiatives
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Bachelor’s degree required.
10+ years’ experience in go-to-market planning, marketing and product positioning & messaging
You are an experienced people leader, skilled at setting strategic direction, translating into proposed initiatives and leading seamless execution
You are comfortable navigating complex organizations – interacting with cross functional teams that span across multiple business units.
You possess strong strategic acumen with a customer focused perspective
You communicate clearly and are comfortable engaging at all levels of management.
You can lead, influence, and motivate colleagues and peers without formal authority.
You are intellectually curious and model a culture of learning and coaching.
Knowledge of the financial services industry & Series 7 preferred
