Title: Director, Strategic Communications & Engagement – WI Shared Services
The Role
The Shared Services team is a trusted strategic partner and enabler that accelerates delivery and value creation across the Workplace Platforms, Data, and Digital Experience organization, WI, and Enterprise. We help the organization transform ideas into outcomes, strategies into results, and capabilities into competitive advantages for Fidelity, our clients and our customers.
As the Director, Strategic Communications & Engagement you will be responsible for:
Developing and designing high-impact executive presentations and strategic narratives that bring WPDDX’s mission, strategy, and innovations to life.
Translating complex ideas and data into clear, engaging communications tailored for diverse audiences - from associates to executives.
Shaping and evolving a consistent WPDDX brand voice and visual identity across internal and external channels.
Supporting key organizational moments (e.g., All Associates Meetings, leadership offsites, product launches) with thoughtful messaging and design.
Partnering across WPDDX domains and with senior leaders to amplify the organization’s value proposition through compelling storytelling and visual communication.
The Expertise You Have
8–10 years of experience in strategic communications, marketing, thought leadership, or executive engagement.
Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree in communications, marketing, design, or related field a plus.
Proven ability to build trust and influence across senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
Experience working in fast-paced, matrixed environments - ideally within tech, digital, or product organizations.
Familiarity with Fidelity’s business, Workplace Platforms, Digital Experience, and Data domains is a plus.

Highly collaborative and communicative team player, experienced in multi-functional environments.
Strong executive presence, business judgment, and ability to tailor messaging for senior audiences.
Ability to distill insights into compelling narratives and visuals that drive strategic alignment.
Exceptionally adaptable and agile
Proficiency in tools like PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite, and/or video editing platforms.
Eager to learn and adapt quickly, and open to offering and receiving feedback.
