  • In-depth knowledge of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.2), Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, and Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
  • Ability to identify and prioritize accessibility barriers while providing solutions for removing them from designed and developed products.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field

Preferred Qualifications / Valued Experience

  • Proficiency with creating, testing, and remediating PDFs and other document types for accessibility compliance.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and Adobe InDesign accessibility features.
  • Knowledge of PDF/UA and Matterhorn Protocol.
  • Experience with document remediation applications (like PAC3, Crawford AccessibilityNow, CommonLook Validator, CommonLookPDF, or the like)
  • Partnering with sales and product teams to draft responses to RFP inquiries about the accessibility of digital products and services.
  • Collaborating with legal teams to incorporate accessibility language into service agreements and scope of work documents.
  • Interacting with procurement to craft and / or evaluate accessibility conformance reports (ACRs / VPATs).
  • Experience leading and maintaining ongoing communications between client and service provider while managing escalations and resolutions.
  • Engaging with product teams to evaluate critical metrics of accessibility programs to identify risks, dependencies and opportunities for improvement.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • High level of personal integrity and professionalism
  • Exceptional analytical, project management, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Outstanding relationship building and business partnership skills with the ability to build credibility and trust with diverse partners inside and outside of the organization
  • Experience with Jira or similar Agile backlog management tool preferred
  • Strong attention to detail, capable of working at different levels of detail and concisely summarize complex issues
  • Ability to make decisions based on validated reasoning
  • Strong verbal, written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Flexibility to adapt to a continually developing environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Dedication to cross-functional teamwork and collaboration

The Value You Deliver

  • Prioritizing work to deliver customer and client value based on impact
  • Creating inclusive and accessible digital experiences that deliver on product, technology and Fidelity goals
  • Working with product area, chapter and squad leaders to deliver a cohesive customer experience across products and channels
  • Establishing relationships with peers and executives
  • Assist with quarterly planning activities and ongoing prioritization of squad backlog
  • Identify, define and articulate strategic accessibility initiatives/roadmaps for the squad
  • Effectively present information and roadmap progress to Product Area and Domain leadership
