Job Description:

Reporting to Strategic Adviser’s Senior Vice President, Managed Accounts Investment Solutions, the position will be a catalyst in the growth of Strategic Advisers managed account business.

As key members of the Managed Accounts Investment Product team, we are responsible for partnering with investment and distribution partners to develop, implement and support the diverse set of investment solutions offered by Strategic Advisers. We are fortunate to contribute to Fidelity’s rapidly growing advice business and capabilities with a focus on single asset class, multi-asset class, and multi-account solutions offered to retail, workplace, or institutional investors.

Another important role is to act as liaison between Strategic Advisers investment professionals and key product, sales and service, communications, legal and compliance business partners. In close partnership with Fidelity’s distribution channels, we help to effectively communicate our investment capabilities in terms of clear and powerful value drivers for clients!

In this role you will be part of a diverse, collaborative, and adaptive team tasked with helping grow Fidelity’s advice solutions in the market! Primary Responsibilities

The Manager responsibilities within Strategic Advisers managed account offerings/capabilities will contribute to several exciting areas of the business.

  • Provide business analysis and project management support which will assist in the definition of investment solutions that meet identified customer/market needs; and represent investment team needs in platform/implementation efforts to bring new capabilities and products to market

  • Contribute to product launches by assisting in representing the investment team to communicate the investment process, investment philosophy, portfolio construction positioning and messaging, representative training, as well as thought leadership

  • Provide ongoing product support in the form of communications and positioning of investment process and methodology, as well as facilitation of client exceptions, reporting/analysis enhancements, ad hoc channel requests

  • Deliver competitive analysis and insights of the Managed Accounts marketplace by monitoring the performance, product enhancements, and product development of selected key competitors

  • Communicate the investment philosophy, process, resources and results to internal partners and will work closely with product professionals across Fidelity's distribution channels to support product positioning, product marketing, and product development

  • Generate value-added, decision-support reporting for internal and external audience to shape the future of our business and offerings

Education and Experience

  • Four (4+) plus years of financial services experience, preferably in product management, product development or product strategy roles

  • Experience with mutual funds across multiple asset classes

Skills and Knowledge

  • Interpersonal and Influencing skills required along with confirmed ability to successfully engage with all levels of management across multiple business units.

  • Communication Skills and the ability to clearly, concisely and persuasively present complex proposals, issues and arguments, both in writing and verbally.

  • Analytical and Critical Thinking Skill required ensuring analyses are thoroughly vetted and sound

  • Project Management skills required to optimally drive projects across the company and run critical dependencies

The base salary range for this position is $80,000-$127,000 per year.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
