The Role
The Senior Manager, Start-Up Marketing for Fidelity Labs will be a member of the Fidelity Labs Commercialization and Business Operations team (CBO) and drive all efforts for the external positioning and initiatives of Fidelity Labs. This role will provide strategic leadership, oversight, development and management of an end-to-end community and events strategy, focusing on external brand awareness, external evangelism, talent incubation, and PR support of general Labs and its portfolio of companies.
Reporting to the VP of SaaS Commercialization, and in partnership with the Labs internal and external communications teams, GTM Operations and Business Intelligence and New Venture teams, this role will be responsible for external-facing marketing for Fidelity Labs. This includes partner sponsorships, monthly tech breakfast/dinner series, speaking engagements, networking receptions, miscellaneous events, PR, EIR support, and more. They will also partner with Labs’ portfolio companies on various external events as needed such as client meetings, launch events, and conferences.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- 8+ years of experience in marketing, PR, event planning, or similar field, ideally in the fintech or SaaS industry
- Program & Project Management: You can develop, scope and coordinate complex engagements that deliver substantial, realized business value. Proven track record managing programs and/or projects through the full life cycle, aligned to business objectives, outlined scope and timeline. Superior organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities at the same time, with attention to detail.
- Problem Solving: You are comfortable with ambiguity and can understand complex problems; can identify, analyze, synthesize and resolve critical business issues; can offer creative insights that result in practical solutions and significant value Continuous improvement approach and positive perspective.
- Communication: You are a skilled communicator and have successfully demonstrated the use of different communication strategies, tools, frameworks, and media to advance business objectives. You consistently apply attention to detail when engaging with diverse teams and partners, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment across all communications.
- Experience working with start-ups, and/or in the financial services industry, a plus

The base salary range for this position is $85,000-171,000 USD per year.Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
