The Role
Join our Thought Leadership Content team and help us transform the way families and advisors talk about generational planning. As a Manager in Content Development at the Fidelity Center for Family Engagement (FCFE), you'll develop compelling audience-focused content to drive engagement, showcase our expertise, and elevate our brand. This is an outstanding opportunity for a driven writer and editor to grow their skills in a collaborative, innovative, and fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Draft, edit, and co-create content across formats (e.g., articles, blog posts, social copy, web copy, email, video scripts) in partnership with senior writers, thought leaders, and the content team.
- Co-create and coordinate with design, development, marketing, and digital teams to develop, publish and promote content across channels.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate FCFE’s proprietary thought leadership and content into clear, engaging narratives.
- Partner to continue the development of a distinctive brand-aligned voice that balances engaging content with thought leadership consistency.
- Assist in managing editorial calendars and content workflows.
- Review and synthesize key messaging and copy from existing FCFE content and curriculum.
- Monitor content performance and audience engagement metrics to inform future work.
The expertise and skills you bring
With 2 to 4 years of experience in content creation, editorial, or digital storytelling, you have a knack for creative expression, excellent writing and editing skills, and demonstrated attention to detail. Your ability to synthesize information and communicate clearly for diverse audiences, while maintaining key messaging, sets you apart. Familiarity with standard processes in digital content, including SEO, UX writing, and social media, is crucial. You demonstrate strong organization and can manage multiple projects simultaneously. And your collaborative approach, understanding of the creative process, and eagerness to learn from peers and mentors will drive your success in this role.

Our team delivers how to guidance through coaching, live events, research, videos, and articles that help families transform their planning journey one conversation at a time.
The base salary range for this position is $74,000-141,000 USD per year.Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
