The Role

Our Enterprise Technology Finance team is looking for a Financial Analyst to help launch CostIT, a transformative platform that will redefine how we forecast and manage technology costs. This is your chance to influence strategic decisions, work with cutting-edge tools, and collaborate with senior leaders across Finance and Technology.
CostIT goes live in February 2026, replacing our current Technology Business Management approach. It introduces a modern, integrated way to manage portfolio financials aligned with the new P180 Portfolio construct and TrackIT timekeeping system. Your mission? Help us roll out a redesigned planning capability that leverages CostIT’s Actuals model and Resource Allocation tools to deliver forward-looking insights that drive smarter decisions.
In this role, you will:
• Shape the Future of Planning: Contribute to the design, testing, and rollout of a new CostIT Planning model used in executive-level technology portfolio reviews.
• Deliver Insights That Matter: Build financial forecasts that inform strategic decisions on cost and resource allocation.
• Collaborate Across the Enterprise: Partner with cross-functional teams including Anaplan COE, CST Technology, Reporting COE, BU IT Finance, and IT Strategy & Planning.
• Own the Details: Perform financial analysis, modeling, and reporting using tools like Power BI, while supporting project management and adoption efforts.
• Influence at All Levels: Present findings and recommendations to senior leaders across Finance and Technology.
The Expertise & Skills You Bring
• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business; 2–3 years of financial or business analysis experience (preferably in technology organizations).
• Technical Curiosity: Experience with or willingness to learn tools like Anaplan, Power BI, Snowflake, and Alteryx.
• Analytical Excellence: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Communication & Influence: Confidence to interact with senior management and build relationships across the company.
• Big Picture Thinking: Ability to see strategic implications while maintaining attention to detail.
• Tool Proficiency: Solid knowledge of Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint.

The Team
This role will report up to the Program Lead of CostIT and will work with associates from Technology, Finance and Strategy & Planning teams throughout Fidelity. The CostIT Team is a small but mighty team made up of fun-loving professionals who are passionate about the success of the program and work closely together to achieve our objectives.
