VP, Creative Director of Design, Creative Solutions, Fidelity Communications Services

The Role

Orchestrates the development and implementation of the strategy for design, ideation, look and feel development, and creative concept execution for all design initiatives for Creative Solutions within Fidelity Communications Services. Leads and partners with teams across the organization to achieve objectives within Fidelity Corporate Communications. Leads with a ‘One Fidelity’ mindset by partnering with cross-company creative teams for consistency across creative, develops best practices, playbooks, and guides for team use in support of the Fidelity corporate brand. Fosters a can-do culture, aligning resources, priorities, and processes for success while continuously developing talent with new skillsets and deepening current skillsets with an innovation first mindset.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Provides leadership and general direction to the team in line with the content creation strategy.

  • Develops original breakthrough ideas and expressive brand designs for a variety of platforms.

  • Identifies opportunities for research to uncover areas of improvement.

  • Takes accountability for the design budget, development and production of creative assets, and consistent alignment with global design standards.

  • Works cross-functionally, balancing the needs of stakeholders, and breaking down complex briefs into simple and compelling ideas.

  • Provides ongoing coaching and creates learning and development opportunities, formal and informal to unlock the full potential of each team member.

  • Gives timely written or oral feedback to others that is relevant, specific, realistic, positively framed, constructive, and kind. Offers continuous support to ensure that improvement and progress occur.

  • Creates a team culture where associates feel comfortable and safe about sharing ideas, trying new things, speaking up, and admitting mistakes.

  • Ensures that the content (e.g., text, graphics, animation, videos, audio, photography and more) posted on websites and social media channels portrays a consistent image and branding to potential customers.

  • Oversees contact with key accounts. Serves as a strategic visionary. Sets direction and objectives for all projects under their management. Manages the relationships with key stakeholders involved in these various projects.

  • Recruits, trains, manages, develops, and retains the best people to ensure business sustainability.

We are Fidelity Corporate Communication's’ full-service creative team, strategic thinkers and makers who bring ideas to life across channels, technologies, and platforms. Most roles at Fidelity are Hybrid, requiring associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office. This does not apply to Remote or fully Onsite roles.
