We are seeking a highly experienced Systems Analysis Expert to join our Brokerage Recordkeeping Technology team. This role is pivotal for individuals who excel in problem solving, analyzing complex systems, assisting in planning critical initiatives, and ensuring the seamless integration of systems and operations within cloud environments. The ideal candidate will bring a deep analytical aptitude, exceptional planning capabilities, focusing on data management, producer/consumer platforms, and integration among various Systems & API platforms.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform in-depth analysis of systems/products to aid in a large-scale technology migration program.

  • Works with business and technology partners to identify, review, define, interpret, and clarify the scope of work in terms of business and/or system requirements and processes.

  • Works with technology, architecture, and leadership to help drive overall systems analysis with future vision considering enterprise standards and requirements.

  • Engage in collaborative planning with various partners to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

  • Work across teams to perform analysis considering feasibility studies, risk assessment, dependencies, integration points, among various systems/subsystems which can comprise of Producers, Consumers, APIs, Data across Businesses to help drive outcomes.

  • Understands available APIs/contracts and other data sources to come up with optimal way to integrate them.

  • Develop comprehensive documentation of Systems architecture, operational workflows, ensuring clarity and accessibility for all partners.

  • Ability to refine high level business requirements to technical blueprints.

  • Facilitates sessions on Capabilities and functions, data management practices, and cloud strategies to improve team capabilities and readiness.

  • Participates in the review and validation of Quality Assurance test plans to ensure requirements have been met.

  • Contributes to tools and methodologies for efficient analysis and documentation.

  • Recommends changes to existing systems design to achieve requirements and recommends designs for new systems based on requirements.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • 6+ years of professional experience in systems analysis, with expertise working in APIs, Data, and distributed ecosystems particularly in customer-facing applications.

  • Proven track record in conducting complex system analysis, identifying key areas for improvement, and planning system enhancements or migrations.

  • Solid grasp of data management, data analysis concepts, including proficiency in SQL, Stored procedures, Databases etc.

  • Outstanding analytical, thoughtful planning, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate sophisticated technical challenges into actionable plans.

  • Good communication and collaboration abilities, adept at working with multi-functional teams and articulating technical concepts to a varied audience.

  • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms, with a focus on AWS, including familiarity with cloud migration strategies and tools.

  • Knowledge of Capability modeling, to align with the enterprise blueprint.

  • Deep technical writing, story-writing and documentation using various tools.

  • Fundamental understanding of technical architecture of n-tier systems, and may have direct experience working on developer tooling, APIs, Data, SDKs, and application ecosystems.

  • Familiarity with integration testing, and observability tools such as Datadog and Splunk.

  • Impactful communication and presentation skills, both to influence and educate business partners.

Desirable Skills:

  • Professional certifications in AWS Cloud Solutions and Project Management.

  • Experience in leading or contributing towards cloud migration projects or modernization projects.

  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements, ensuring alignment to industry standards.

  • Experience in Financial Services institutions.

  • Experience and knowledge of Enterprise Integration Patterns including pub/sub, event-driven/streaming and APIs

The base salary range for this position is $80,000-$153,000 per year.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
