Fidelity Notification and Messaging Services (FENS/BNS) is looking for a Principal Analyst with a passion to deliver industry leading solutions to support platform development. Your role will be to lead and facilitate the process of gathering business requirements through interviewing or conducting requirements sessions to generate detailed business requirements.

Notifications & Messaging Services delivers a suite of capabilities to enable effective delivery and management of notifications & messages to Retail & Institutional customers within Fidelity Investments.

You will join a team that is responsible for delivering features for our modern Alerting and Notification System, onboarding new and existing alerts to our modern cloud-based platform, and work with business and system teams to define requirements and ensure the product satisfies business requirements.

Candidates should have 10+ years’ experience in a systems analysis role (ideally with 3+ years’ experience in the financial services industry). This role will involve reviewing business requirements, systems requirements and capability analysis, solution design, and working closely with business partners and the development team. Candidate should have demonstrable abilities/expertise in the following areas:

  • Lead and facilitate the process of gathering business requirements through interviewing or conducting group requirements session and generate detailed business requirements/stories.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, breaking down complex business problems by understanding the business needs, creating understanding of how digital solutions may meet those needs.

  • Analyze and document current workflows, identify opportunities to meet project objectives, and make recommendations for future approaches.

  • Develop user definitions, use cases and workflow diagrams to illustrate business problems.

  • Actively participate in formal presentations/updates to various audiences.

  • Positivity and strength in working within a high performing team.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are key to communicating effectively with technology partners and understanding their requirements.

  • Open collaboration with team members on shared items.

Most roles at Fidelity are Hybrid, requiring associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office. This does not apply to Remote or fully Onsite roles.
