The Role
Do you want to be part of a growing Technology team that’s developing and delivering solutions to meet the expanding performance and analytics needs of Enterprise? We are looking for a motivated, analytical, and collaborative individual to join our team.
As a key member of the Performance Measurement & Analysis (PMA) product area, we are looking for a Senior Analyst, Investment Performance Measurement & Analysis who will play a crucial role in driving the technical implementation of performance capabilities, shaping the future of our product roadmap, and maximizing the value of our platform across the enterprise. You will partner closely with asset management, Fidelity’s distribution channels, and the broader organization to deliver a diverse range of investment performance and analytics capabilities to meet the needs of retail, intermediary, and institutional clients.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Performing ad‑hoc performance measurement analysis to support complex business questions, troubleshooting data anomalies, and providing clear analytical guidance to partners across the organization.
- Partnering with product, asset management, software development and other key stakeholders to drive definition and technical implementation of performance and analytics capabilities.
- Assessing updates to methodology, controls, and processes in line with industry and regulatory standards, and support the development of policies and procedures that strengthen oversight of Product Area operations.
- Evaluating opportunities to increase the value and scalability of the performance platform across the enterprise, ensuring alignment with business needs and long‑term strategic goals.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in performance measurement, reporting, and analysis; progress toward CFA or CIPM (or willingness to pursue) is a plus.
- Understanding of portfolio accounting, modern portfolio theory, and related concepts of risk and return.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to understand and resolve complex problems
- Ability to work collaboratively, to interact and build strong working relationships within the team and with key stakeholders across the organization.
- Knowledge of managed accounts processes, data and industry practices a plus
- Foundational SQL and data‑query experience and/or experience working with Technology delivery teams a plus

The Team
This dynamic Performance Measurement & Analysis Product Area is part of Fidelity’s Institutional Technology organization. We are responsible for a proprietary, enterprise-scale performance platform and contribute to several of Fidelity’s rapidly growing business areas. We partner closely with investment product and digital experience teams focused on offerings for both institutional and retail clients.
