Systems Analyst- Brokerage

The Role
Do you want to make a difference in our customers’ lives and work with a highly collaborative, multi-functional team committed to improving the value of our service offerings across Fidelity’s Institutional Wealth Management Services? We are looking for a Systems Analyst who will drive the end user experience with your technical competence, initiative, and brokerage knowledge to support our account management effort for IWMS Clearing and Custody Clients.
The focus of this position will entail driving the technical analysis and support of our account management systems. You will be encouraged to support extensive gap analysis, research dataflows from user facing UIs through to backend systems and possess excellent written and oral communication skills. You will work closely with the engineering team to craft, build, test, and deliver the features that make up IWMS Digital Account Management experiences.
The Skills and Expertise You Bring
Bachelor’s degree required; Finance, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related technology field preferred
Demonstrable professional experience as a Systems Analyst supporting software solutions
Prior brokerage experience is highly preferred, with strong preference for familiarity in account management capabilities
Proven experience researching, optimizing, developing, and authoring solution requirements, user stories, and specifications for moderate to complex software systems
Hands-on experience working with REST, SOAP, JSON, APIs, and Splunk
Experience documenting current-state and future-state systems using diagramming tools such as Visio or Draw.io
Solid grasp of Structured Query Language (SQL) and general programming concepts
Proficiency using SQL tools and querying relational databases
Experience working within Agile development methodologies
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong passion for accuracy, clarity, and elimination of ambiguity
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor content for diverse audiences
Self-starter who can quickly adapt to evolving business processes, goals, and objectives and translate them into well-defined requirements
Proven ability to collaborate with technology and business teams to deliver high-quality solutions to complex business problems
Dedicated, self-managed, hardworking, and highly motivated, with the ability to work independently to deliver results
Strong facilitation skills to engage key stakeholders while building and maintaining productive relationships
The Team
The Systems Analyst will be part of the IWMS Digital Account Management product area. The candidate will be a core member on a multi-functional Agile scrum team, partnering with Squad leaders, business analysts, architects, technology leads, to ensure successful delivery of program objectives and alignment of the work to deliver the product roadmap.
