The Role

You’ll lead initiatives that are fundamental to growing Fidelity’s share of the vast and diverse self-directed investor market. You’ll become an expert in key customer markets by analyzing customer data, research and competitive intelligence; drive business growth through strategies that both meet the market needs of today and tomorrow; and execute short- and long-term plays in partnership with design, product, marketing, compliance, technology, digital and live channels.

You possess a strong passion for product development, innovation and strategic storytelling. You thrive in white or gray space and take initiative to figure it out and bring others along. You have a track record of mobilizing people from various teams toward a common objective through facilitative leadership, iterative thinking, and a collaborative workstyle. You have broad business knowledge of Fidelity’s diverse offerings for retail investors and the markets we serve; but you also think beyond traditional financial services and apply best digital product thinking to our work.


Additionally:

  • Experience driving customer analysis and research through hypothesis driven critical thinking

  • Experience leading end-to-end experiments from hypothesis through design / develop through measurement

  • Strong communication skills that help align partners and stakeholders and inspire confidence

  • Investment strategy knowledge / relevant certifications a plus

The Team

Self-Directed Investing team is part of Fidelity’s Brokerage business. We partner with smart, creative people across the organization to understand our customers, their needs, and how we can better meet the needs of today and tomorrow. We have a relentless commitment to helping our customers build confidence in investing – regardless of their affluence, skill or appetite.

The base salary range for this position is $110,000-$222,000 per year.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
