Job Title: Senior Manager, Finance Insights & Analytics
The Role
The Senior Manager - Finance Intelligence & Insights (BIA) role within ETGS Finance is responsible for delivering accurate, high quality financial insights to the Finance and Technology leadership and creating high value and outstanding experience to all stakeholders. Role involves analyzing various aspects of technology spend and portfolio, identify opportunities to optimize spend, understand drivers and help decision making through a consultative approach.
The position is for US based locations and reports to the Vice President, Finance.
Specifically, the role will be responsible for:
Focuses on broader strategic projects and engagements that provide insights in alignment with the Firm’s strategic objectives
Understands business problems clearly, formulates analytical approaches, gathers required data from various sources and delivers actionable insights from the analyses
Build partnerships with other Finance groups, Technology organizations and Strategic Planning offices to support organization-wide efforts with finance analytics
Engage actively with other Analytics and Data groups across peer Finance and Technology organizations
Interprets key issues on a broader external context and for internal review. Presents implications and recommendations with a strategic perspective. Influences management actions
Guides decisions for application of financial models to meet business needs on a sustainable basis. Ensures consistency of methodology and quality/ reasonableness of output. Effectively defines output for decision making
The Expertise And Skills You Bring
Experienced and knowledgeable in financial data analytics, critical thinking, data-driven approach, business savvy and a collaborative spirit to partner with stakeholders and understand critical business questions
10+ years of post-qualification experience
Strong data mining, visualization and presentation skills to generate and present insights from disparate data sources and types
Knowledge of Data Querying (SQL, Snowflake or equivalent), Statistics, Data modeling, and/or analytical techniques
Good to have knowledge of programming using Python or similar tools
Understanding of technology cost drivers, financial statements, Budgeting and Planning process, FinOps, and emerging technological trends is nice to have
Deals effectively with higher levels of situational ambiguity to surface, resolve and avoid
issues with internal and external constituencies
Ability to interpret key issues, make decisions, suggest recommendations leveraging existing procedures and tools
Ability to collaborate across the larger organization, engage / leverage existing COEs, building partnerships across stakeholders to provide holistic solutions
Communicate skillfully (Listening to understand, storytelling, influencing)
Navigating complexity/ Sense Making (Finding meaning in the abstract, ability to determine the deeper meaning or significance of what is being expressed)
Strategic orientation & Self driven (Focuses on the big picture and outside in approach while problem solving)
Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to influence senior management
Excellent organization and written/verbal communication skills required.
Knowledge on Financial analytics tools, data mining, data visualization tools and presentation skills
Proficiency with programming / database querying tools (SQL, R, Python, etc.) highly preferred
Understanding of technology cost drivers and pricing mechanisms of various tools and infrastructure preferred
Qualified candidate with a undergraduate/ graduate (e.g. MBA) from a reputed institution
Prior experience in data mining, analytics and/or financial analysis

The Team
You will be part of the Enterprise Technology Finance organization, partnering closely with Finance leadership, Technology teams, Strategic Planning offices, and peer Analytics and Data groups across the firm. The team supports enterprise-wide initiatives by delivering financial insight, governance, and decision support that aligns with the firm’s strategic priorities. Collaboration, integrity, and impact-driven analytics are central to how the team operates and delivers value across the organization.
