The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated, detail‑oriented team player with strong analytical and data‑management skills. This role operates in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment that requires exceptional communication, the ability to multi‑task, and close partnership with clients, business stakeholders, and technology teams across Fidelity.
As an Associate Processor, Investment Data Management, you will perform critical, time‑sensitive data‑entry and validation work within our Master Data Management (MDM) systems. Key responsibilities include creating and maintaining securities with strict turnaround times, running daily data‑quality checks, resolving exceptions, and troubleshooting data issues. Accuracy, urgency, and sound judgment are essential to success in this role.
- Ensuring fast, accurate processing and maintenance of security master data
- Providing timely, clear responses to business inquiries about data quality and delivery
- Troubleshooting production issues and partnering with Technology and Business teams to resolve them
- Contributing subject‑matter expertise to operational initiatives and cross‑functional projects
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in Operations, Business Analysis, or Data Analysis
- Financial‑services experience working with reference data preferred
- Familiarity with market‑data vendors such as Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters, IDC, or ratings agencies
- Experience with analytical or reporting tools (e.g., SQL, R, OBIEE) preferred
- Knowledge of operational processing for SWAPS, Term Loans, and Futures
- Ability to collaborate effectively with vendors, clients, and end users
- Strong problem‑identification and issue‑resolution abilities
- Demonstrated accuracy and analytical skills when responding to customer inquiries
- Proven ability to multi‑task, prioritize, and meet deadlines under pressure
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and project‑management abilities to navigate high‑volume workflows
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across levels and departments
- Experience with data analytics, data mining, reporting, operations research, or data manipulation is a plus

The Team
The Global Data Services (GDS) team within Fidelity Fund and Investment Operations (FFIO) is a global investment‑data management organization responsible for sourcing, integrating, and distributing security, index, and portfolio data. GDS supports global investment teams by delivering high‑quality reference, evaluative, performance, and analytics data.
Within GDS, the Data Management Operations (DMO) division specializes in managing, validating, and maintaining vendor‑provided and Fidelity‑defined data for investment entities—including securities, issues, brokers, funds, portfolios, and indexes. This team plays a critical role in ensuring data accuracy and consistency across the firm’s investment platforms.
