The Role
As a Senior IT Program Manager you will be responsible for driving the execution of complex technology initiatives across engineering, architecture, and product teams. This role focuses on coordinating technical delivery, ensuring alignment with milestones, and supporting the broader program management team. You will serve as a key liaison between technical teams and the overall Business Program Manager, contributing to delivery transparency, risk mitigation, and disciplined execution. This role is ideal for a delivery-focused leader who thrives in cross-functional environments and is passionate about enabling scalable, high-quality technology solutions through strong development practices and continuous improvement.
Lead the planning and execution of cross-functional technology initiatives, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
Track and manage technical risks, issues, and mitigation plans throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Support release planning and deployment readiness in partnership with technical leads.
Execute scaled release planning and coordination across business units.
Ensure accurate data entry and synchronization across program-level tools (e.g., Jira Align).
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Progressive experience in technical program or project management within technology organizations.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, modern development methodologies, and technical delivery practices.
Proven ability to manage complex technical initiatives across multiple teams and domains.
Experience in financial services or insurance is a plus.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, especially with technical audiences.
Demonstrated ability to lead without formal authority and influence cross-functional teams.
Skilled in delivery tools such as Jira, Confluence, and other collaboration platforms.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to foster a high-performing, inclusive, and psychologically safe team culture.

The Team:
Fidelity Fund Investment Operations (FFIO) provides accounting and investment management support services for Fidelity mutual funds and other retail and institutional investment products. These services include calculating and distributing NAVs, distribution rates and yields for a wide variety of investment products; preparing fund financial statements, dividend estimates and tax returns; monitoring delivery of fund trades to custodian banks; processing corporate actions; collecting securities income on behalf of the funds; reconciling, reporting, and moving money in support of fund shareholder transactions; and managing fund liquidity.
