The Role

Join the Asset Management Technology organization as a Manager, Technology Programs, responsible for governance, reporting, and oversight of multiple Enterprise Technology and AM Tech strategic initiatives. These initiatives support the Asset Management business by aligning to core and common platforms, reducing vendor dependencies, and strengthening security. You will also drive transparency into Fidelity’s technology priorities and help organize and prioritize initiatives across these areas.

In this role you will:

  • Articulate risks, challenges, and impacts in a way that is understandable and measurable for AM Technology leaders

  • Manage a comprehensive execution plan with delivery dates for technology programs that span across Domains within AMT

  • Analyze large amounts of data which you will synthesize into actionable plans

  • Provide management with updates on the status of your technology programs including risk mitigations

  • Engage with peers in other Fidelity Business Units to identify and share improvement opportunities and to represent AMT in cross-Fidelity forums

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • 3-5 years of related work experience in IT Program Management

  • Ability to partner with various stakeholder groups to manage multiple high priority efforts, facilitating the prioritization of competing needs to achieve common outcomes

  • Leverage critical thinking and analysis skills to propose solutions to complex problems. Data analysis and visualization skills are a must.

  • Understanding of technology concepts such as architecture, software development, security, audit and technology risk.

  • Your love of solving complex problems, comfort with ambiguous situations, and your ability to help solution innovative ways to mitigate risk using your advanced analytical and critical thinking skills

  • High degree of integrity and strong work ethic; decisive with orientation toward results; positive attitude

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science

The Team

Asset Management Technology (AM Tech) is responsible for delivering innovative, scalable, industry-leading investment tools that enable Asset Management to achieve competitive advantage globally. AM Tech is an integral partner in setting Asset Management's strategic direction and has shared accountability for achieving Asset Management goals. Within AM Tech, the Strategy Enablement and Engagement team designs, implements, and innovates technology and business management practices, associate engagement and executive leadership insights that promote cross-domain alignment, transparency, and scale. It also serves as the central planning and strategy group for more than 2000 technology associates globally. Our success is dependent on collaboration and partnership across AM Technology, Asset Management and with our partners across the enterprise.

Most roles at Fidelity are Hybrid, requiring associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office. This does not apply to Remote or fully Onsite roles.
