The Team

Fidelity Investments has an exciting Technical Strategy Lead, QA and Test Automation, opportunity on a Desktop Application development team. The role will be responsible for building and maintaining Test Automation frameworks and test suites for Desktop applications for Windows and Mac Operating Systems.

As a Technical Strategy Lead, QA and Test Automation, you will bring in not only deep technical expertise but also a deep respect for a healthy test pyramid, broad exposure to common test automation frameworks, and a solid background in QA fundamentals and processes. . You will also be guiding the team in adopting test automation frameworks and best practices to ensure we are building the right product and we are building it right. The candidate we hire will step into a strategic leadership role that requires both technical expertise and the leadership maturity to win hearts and minds without direct management authority

The Expertise You Have

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software engineering or related field
  • 8+ years of experience with building, debugging and supporting automation frameworks and suites
  • Experience in crafting Testing Strategy & Best Practices for Testing is a must.
  • Experience working on Software Engineering teams maintaining their own Quality Practices without separate QA
  • Hands on experience in programming and scripting languages
  • Experience with mocking frameworks

  • Enable the team in designing and developing automation using best-in-class Tools & Frameworks
