The Role

Digital Assets Shareholder Reporting is growing at Fidelity!

Are you interested in joining a collaborative, operations-focused team? Do you have strong knowledge and experience preparing or auditing financial statements for alternative investment products with a focus on digital assets and cryptocurrencies?

As we build this critical team, we are seeking an Analyst to support key initiatives across digital product strategy, instrument readiness and shareholder reporting.

This team is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and coordinating the production of financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory, product-specific requirements and internal quality standards. Primary responsibilities of the role relate to digital asset products structured as Exchange Traded Products (ETPs) and Limited Partnerships (LPs) and includes quarterly/annual reporting. We need talent that thrives in an operational environment where deadlines, accuracy and high-quality reporting are critical to our success!

As an Analyst, you will play a key role in driving operational efficiencies by supporting the scale and automation of processes. You will contribute to the production of digital asset product financial reports, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and high quality outputs while collaborating across teams to enhance processes that support an evolving product set with diverse investments and structures.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Strong knowledge of alternative investments with an emphasis on broad and deep operations of digital products including cryptocurrencies and tokens and requirements related to using a blockchain for recording of capital and portfolio transactions for both registered and pooled investment funds
  • Bachelor’s degree with 2-5 years of experience working in financial services with an asset manager, audit firm or custodian bank, preferably with experience in accounting operations or administration for alternative investment products and public company financial reporting (Form 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K and other reporting as needed)
  • Strong working knowledge of US GAAP, including familiarity with investment company reporting for nonregistered investment partnerships and 33/34/40 Act investment funds
  • Exposure to alternative asset classes with interest in or familiarity with digital assets and cryptocurrency products
  • Experience with accounting and reporting platforms (e.g., Geneva, InvestOne) and strong Excel skills
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in an operations-focused, fast-paced team environment
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to partner cross-domain with accounting, tax, product and technology teams
  • Demonstrated ability to support operational efficiencies, including process improvement, standardization and automation initiatives

The Team

In Global Product Solutions (GPS), we’re on a mission to deliver innovative and exceptional product and program solutions from concept through execution. Our team is part of the Fidelity Fund and Investment Operations (FFIO) organization. As the Digital Team component of GPS within FFIO shareholder reporting operations, our team is focused on modernizing how investment product data, reporting and disclosures are designed and delivered. We develop digital product, instrument and operating model strategies that enhance the quality, consistency, and scalability of financial statements and regulatory filings, while enabling efficient instrument intake and readiness through a cross-domain approach that improves transparency and mitigates risk. Aligned to broader priorities, our work supports new business capabilities, delivers high-quality outcomes for customers and advances the technology needed to build scale and resilience, while creating opportunities for associates to grow their expertise and drive innovation in financial reporting.

The base salary range for this position is $60,000-115,000 USD per year.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
