The Role

We are seeking a strategic and execution-oriented leader to help shape and evolve the customer strategy for our Advanced Trader business. This role sits at the intersection of product, marketing, compliance, technology, client service, and cross-functional delivery.

The Director will partner closely across Product, Marketing, Service, and Analytics to deepen understanding of advanced trader customer segments, identify growth opportunities, and help drive strategic initiatives from concept through execution.

This role requires a strong blend of strategic thinking, customer-centric problem solving, analytical rigor, and organizational leadership. The ideal candidate is comfortable navigating ambiguity, influencing cross-functional stakeholders, and translating business objectives into actionable plans that drive measurable outcomes.

  • Develop deep understanding of advanced trader customer behaviors, needs, motivations, and value drivers
  • Help evolve customer segmentation frameworks and identify opportunities for revenue growth, share growth, customer acquisition, and asset retention
  • Partner with analytics teams to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and emerging customer needs
  • Translate customer insights and behavioral data into actionable business and customer strategies
  • Help translate strategic priorities into executable initiatives, pilots, and plans
  • Facilitate alignment across stakeholders with varying priorities and perspectives
  • Monitor initiative performance and recommend adjustments based on results and customer feedback
  • Support development of business goals, KPI frameworks, and strategic growth priorities
  • Contribute to competitive assessments and market opportunity analyses

The Expertise and Skills you Bring

  • 8–12 plus years of experience in strategy, consulting, marketing, customer strategy, product strategy, commercialization, or related fields
  • Experience working in highly cross-functional environments with multiple stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex initiatives and influence without direct authority
  • Strong strategic thinking and structured critical thinking skills
  • Experience synthesizing customer, business, and market insights into actionable recommendations
  • Strong executive communication and presentation skills
  • Background in customer segmentation, customer growth strategy, or commercialization
  • Consulting or enterprise strategy experience preferred
  • Financial Services experience preferred

The Advanced Trading team is part of Fidelity’s Brokerage business. The base salary range for this position is $110,000-$222,000 per year.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
