The Role
As an Associate within Digital Assets Accounting, you will support the team responsible for delivering accounting operations for Fidelity’s digital asset investment products. You will perform core accounting and operational tasks, supporting daily deliverables and helping ensure accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to established processes and controls.
You will participate in the execution of accounting processes across blockchain-enabled investment products, including books and records maintenance, digital asset pricing support, wallet and custodian reconciliations, and NAV production activities. The role includes exposure to both on-chain and off-chain activity, as well as lifecycle events such as forks, airdrops, and staking rewards.
In this role, you will work closely with more senior team members to complete assigned tasks, resolve issues, and support operational workflows. You will collaborate with partners across Accounting, Pricing, Technology, and Product teams as needed to support ongoing operations and contribute to product readiness efforts.
You will also support process improvements and participate in initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of digital asset accounting operations.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent with 3+ years of experience, or Master’s degree with 1–2 years of experience
- Foundational understanding of accounting principles and financial operations
- Familiarity with accounting processes such as reconciliations, pricing, and NAV support preferred
- Exposure to digital asset products, cryptocurrencies, or blockchain concepts is a plus
- Basic understanding of digital asset operational workflows, including transaction processing and reconciliations preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies
- Ability to follow established processes and procedures while demonstrating sound judgment when escalating issues
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with internal stakeholders
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information and ask questions as needed
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a structured, deadline-driven environment
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with accounting systems (e.g., Geneva) preferred

The Team
In Global Product Solutions (GPS), we’re on a mission to deliver innovative and exceptional product and program solutions from concept through execution. Our team is part of the Fidelity Fund and Investment Operations (FFIO) organization.
As a dedicated Digital Asset Accounting team within GPS, we are focused on building and scaling specialized operational capabilities to support Fidelity’s digital asset product platform, moving beyond a traditional shared service model. This includes books and records maintenance, digital asset pricing, fund and security level performance analysis, financial reporting, and tax work.
The Digital Asset Accounting team provides end-to-end operational support, including daily NAV production, digital asset pricing, blockchain reconciliation, financial reporting, and control oversight. The team plays an important role in ensuring processes and controls are effectively designed and executed to support a growing and increasingly complex set of digital asset products.
Working closely with business and technology partners, the team supports the integration of blockchain-related data into accounting workflows, drives process improvements, and enhances transparency and efficiency across operations. This includes supporting new product launches and ensuring operational readiness through scalable and well-controlled processes.
Aligned to broader Digital Assets priorities, the team’s work supports high-quality operational outcomes, enables new product capabilities, and contributes to the continued evolution of how digital asset products are supported within Fidelity. #FFIOAlts #FidelityAlts
The base salary range for this position is $67,000-$127,000 per year.Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
