Job Title

Senior Systems Analyst, Fidelity Institutional Wealth Management Services

The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Systems Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will partner closely with engineering, architecture, and product teams to analyze, document, and support scalable software solutions aligned within our organization. You will help translate business needs into clear technical requirements for current and future use cases.

Our ideal candidate is passionate about analyzing solutions and enabling teams to succeed! We are looking for a self-starter who works well with different collaborators including engineers, architects, UX, and product owners, and who thrives in an agile environment.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, or equivalent, with at least 5 years of Systems Analysis, or related experience.

  • Strong understanding of modern technology application architectures and full-stack development concepts.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to understand and translate business logic into clear functional and technical requirements, with experience in an agile scrum environment.

  • Experience writing technical requirements including Jira user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting quarterly roadmap planning in collaboration with Engineering and business stakeholders.

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly learn and navigate complex systems end-to-end.

  • Collaborative mindset with a customer-focused approach and the ability to articulate sprint-level value.

  • Strong documentation skills, including user stories, workflows, and system diagrams.

  • Proficient in analyzing developer documentation to understand system behavior, APIs, and technical workflows.

  • Proven experience developing and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation in Confluence to support engineering and business stakeholders.

  • Hands-on experience with data observability platforms such as Datadog and Splunk, as well as API tools like SwaggerHub, Bruno and/or Insomnia.

  • Experience collaborating with developers on technologies including Angular, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, AWS, Jenkins, and GitHub.
