The Role

As an IT PM , you will play a crucial role in optimizing the delivery of high value products and services to our customers. You will work directly on teams to implement and improve delivery practices, foster collaboration, and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • PROCESS & FLOW – Advise on process to optimize flow and expedite delivery of value by the squad(s).

  • SCALING & DEPENDENCIES – Optimize delivery of complex initiatives by advising on scaling techniques and organizing teams around the workstream(s).

  • RELEASE MANAGEMENT – Enable the team(s) to release with confidence and in support of a positive client experience.

  • BUSINESS ACUMEN – Develop a clear understanding of the products/services owned by the team and ensure that work is aligned with business strategy.

  • DATA – Ensures the team’s data is correct, complete, and compliant so it can be used to make data-driven decisions.

  • TOOLS – Achieve proficiency in the use of the Fidelity tools and reporting ecosystem and encourage / teach others to be.

  • TEAM DYNAMICS – Enables healthy team dynamics through trusted partnerships and conflict resolution.

  • LEADERSHIP – Earn a seat at the leadership table by being a valued consultant for dealing with complex problems.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years of experience in a dedicated project management role.

  • Deep expertise in multiple project management methodologies and scaling frameworks.

  • Proven track record of successfully implementing scaled practices.

  • Strong leadership skills and ability to influence.

  • Advanced knowledge of agile software development practices.

  • Experience with organizational change management.

  • Expertise in metrics and data-driven decision-making.

  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills at both team and organizational levels.

  • You are a proven change agent capable of enabling teams and individuals from across different functions, experiences and geographies to deliver as they work through new and unfamiliar situations

  • You are an intellectually curious and insightful team leader who can brainstorm with the team to generate solutions that address challenges and roadblocks to accelerating value delivery

The Team

We support cross-functional delivery teams focusing on end-to-end development, along with iterative deployment of an array of solutions for internal stakeholders and intermediary clients (i.e., Advisors, Trusts, Banks, Institutions, et al). Our talented team of IT Project Managers engage with all team members, partner closely with Product and Engineering management to promote prioritized work items, lead the daily operation to deliver optimal business and technology solutions to production. Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
