The Role

Are you ready to make a significant impact at Fidelity Investments? As a Senior Manager, Data Analytics and Insights, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our analytics and AI strategy. This is an outstanding opportunity to combine traditional analytics and decision support with modern AI capabilities to transform how insights are generated and applied across our organization. We need someone who can tackle complex business problems, deliver actionable insights, and support decision-making for our Finance and business leaders.

You will also contribute to the evolution of our conversational analytics capability, Ask BPM, by working closely with Finance and Technology teams to develop reusable analytical frameworks. Your efforts will help users interact with trusted data using natural language, generating insights more efficiently. This role will challenge you to move beyond solving individual business questions and to identify patterns, synthesize feedback, and translate knowledge into scalable analytical capabilities.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Data Science, or a related area; MBA or higher degree preferred
  • 6 plus years of experience in Finance, Data Analytics, Data Science, Technology, or another analytical field
  • Strong understanding of data architecture, data management, and analytics practices
  • Growing expertise in Artificial Intelligence and Large Language Models (LLMs)
  • Experience with SQL, Python, HTML, Markdown, YAML, JSON, or similar technologies
  • Strong data visualization skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly
  • Outstanding critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to connect business strategy, operational context, and available data
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build consultative relationships and collaborate across functions
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment with a willingness to challenge conventional approaches
  • Experience mentoring or coaching less experienced associates

The Team

Fidelity’s Business Performance Measurement (BPM) team offers actionable insights, analytics, and decision support to enhance business outcomes throughout the organization. We collaborate with Technology and business participants to develop and sustain trusted data and analytics capabilities that promote a data-driven culture and back strategic growth. With the expansion of our AI-enhanced analytics, such as Ask BPM, we are searching for a candidate excited by complex problem-solving and driven to help define the future of enterprise analytics!

Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.

The base salary range for this position is $107,000-216,000 USD per year.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
