The Role
We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst that cares deeply about understanding what customers really need and is passionate about building digital solutions for our customers. In this role you will analyze high level business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. In addition, you will implement the solutions into the Workplace Investing (WI) Workflow Automation platform.
We’re seeking a hardworking team member with proven technical expertise and experience working alongside product owners, squad leads, software developers, end users, and colleagues. They will capture requirements, document use cases, write acceptance criteria, and use other tools to convey the ideal user experience.
Driving the composition, build, and delivery of workflow and process solutions for Workplace Investing Customers
Working closely and collaboratively with the business partners to collect and document requirements.
Coordinating the delivery of capabilities to the users.
Working with teams across different geographical regions and time zones
Identifying and solving complicated issues quickly and turning them into intuitive and sophisticated solutions.
Building and maintaining solid relationships with team members, users, customers, and collaborators in person and remote.
Translating and conveying product strategy in the form of executable product requirements
Understanding and documenting user scenarios, use cases, the expected user experience
Defining use cases, user flows, user personas and other artifacts in support of solution development efforts
Performing ongoing product backlog maintenance and facilitate business partner prioritization sessions
Handling timeline and delivery expectations
Working closely with various teams to drive testing, implementation, and deliver capabilities and services
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred
4 – 5 years’ experience in technology / digital products
Experience eliciting customer / user requirements, crafting use cases, writing user stories
Experience facilitating requirements capturing sessions with customers, users, internal teams, business partners, etc.
Experience with software systems with a large customer base
Experience with projects that have a multi-regional footprint and high impact
Experience with JIRA and XTRAC applications preferred
Experience with configuration, workflow, and BPM (Business Process Management) is a plus
Your project management skills are outstanding, and you possess the ability to prioritize effectively while solving problems analytically.
You thrive both independently and as a collaborative team member, showcasing flexibility and adaptability.
Your attention to detail is matched by your understanding of operational objectives, translating them into efficient solutions.
The Team
The Business Infrastructure Team is part of the WI Quality Organization. The team is responsible to ensure our business partners are prepared for change and are collaborating with teams leading the initiative. We partner with business, systems and agile teams across Fidelity.
Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
