The Role

In Workplace Investing, Defined Benefit Configuration Analysts blend Defined Benefit domain knowledge with an aptitude for technology as they work with project teams to set up and maintain new Defined Benefit corporate clients on Fidelity’s Defined Benefit administration platforms. The Analyst collaborates with Business Analysts, Product Consultants, and Technology partners as part of a project team to ensure an exceptional experience for our clients and their participants.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

· Bachelor’s degree and experience working in the HR outsourcing industry (Defined Benefit experience is a plus).

· Experience working with large teams on very complex projects.

· Analytical, consultative, and problem-solving skills

· Knowledge of relationship management, benefits administration, business processes, and record-keeping

· Business and technical analytical skills

· Ability to collaborate with internal and external groups across organizations.

· Strong knowledge of MS Office suite of products, including Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)

· Strong knowledge of data structures and query languages

· Strong knowledge of XML, HTML, JSON and other web-application languages

· Experience with GitHub, SDL Tridion, SQL Server, Jenkins/CloudBees, and JIRA is a plus

The Team

This role resides within the Workplace Investing Defined Benefits Operations organization. The Configuration Analyst will provide system setup support as a member of multiple project teams as well as day-to-day maintenance requests.

Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
