The Role
We are seeking a collaborative, energetic leader to join our growing team. As the Director, Go to Market Strategy at Fidelity Insurance Agency (FIA), you will support the strategic shaping and practical execution of key annuity and insurance solutions and experiences, ensuring top-tier protection for our customers. Key responsibilities:
Partner with FIA business leaders to develop differentiated annuity and protection solutions by deeply understanding client segments, behaviors, and planning needs.
Lead key components of the product lifecycle, from opportunity assessment and requirements development through pilot, launch, and ongoing optimization.
Organize and participate in customer, market, and competitive research to help ground decisions with data.
Collaborate with internal teams and Fidelity Insurance Network (FIN) carriers to create, refine, and execute product roadmaps that align with business KPIs.
Run pilots and experiments to test hypotheses, refine value propositions, and inform scaling decisions.
Build clear, compelling narratives and executive ready materials that articulate vision, tradeoffs, and impact.
Monitor and refine success metrics to inform ongoing investment and evolution.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, with 10+ years of financial services experience, with demonstrated knowledge of product development and management, digital experience, or consulting.
Understanding of Fidelity's retail distribution model, digital experience platforms, planning capabilities, and FIA annuity and life insurance products
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills required
Effective storytelling using qualitative and quantitative data, market trends, business insights and other inputs to inform go-to-market strategy development
Ability to successfully collaborate with and influence multiple business and marketing partners at different levels to align against business goals
Strong project management skills and driven to own several initiatives at once with a strong track record of "getting it done"
Values pace over perfection and enjoys both big picture strategic thinking and hands-on work
Self-motivated and intellectually curious, appreciate learning new skills and capabilities
The FIA Commercialization & Go to Market Team is a newly established function responsible for turning insight into differentiated market-leading insurance solutions and experiences that meet the needs of Fidelity's customers. The role partners across Fidelity Wealth, Brokerage, Workplace, Marketing, CKSI, Distribution, Legal, Risk and Compliance to connect customer insight, strategy, and execution. Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
