VP, Data Solutions, Retail Analytics Data Platform

Fidelity Wealth is seeking a VP, Data Solutions to lead the Data Solutions function for the Retail Analytics Data Platform, a critical data capability serving Fidelity’s Retail business at significant scale. This leader will shape the product strategy, customer engagement model, and roadmap priorities that help analytics teams access, understand, and use trusted data at scale. You will lead a team responsible for translating evolving analytics needs into clear platform priorities and scalable, high-value data capabilities.
The Value You Deliver
Data Solutions Leadership:
- Translate analytics needs across Fidelity’s Retail businesses into a clear, prioritized roadmap that balances customer value, platform strategy, and delivery feasibility.
- Establish the engagement, intake, and prioritization model for analytics customers and consumers, ensuring demand is understood, and sequenced against the highest-value outcomes.
- Define goals, success measures, adoption indicators, and platform priorities that connect roadmap decisions to measurable customer and business impact.
- Partner with analytics, data governance, engineering, and architecture teams to align product priorities, delivery feasibility, platform support, and sequencing decisions.
- Promote a platform mindset by advancing scale, reuse, data discoverability, usability, consistency, and speed to insight for the analytics community.
Customer Engagement and Team Leadership:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to analytics leaders, business partners, and internal customers, helping them understand platform capabilities, clarify emerging needs, and make informed roadmap tradeoffs.
- Lead, coach, and develop a Data Solutions team responsible for customer engagement, roadmap management, and intake operations.
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive culture that supports learning, continuous improvement, and practical innovation.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- 10 plus years of leadership experience in data product management, analytics platforms, or technology product management supporting business-facing analytics platforms.
- Practical product judgment developed through experience with large-scale data or analytics platforms.
- Fluency in data quality, privacy, security, compliance, and governance practices, and how they shape responsible, scalable data platform capabilities.
- Executive communication and prioritization skills, with the ability to make complex tradeoffs clear and drive decisions across senior stakeholders.
- Ability to lead teams through ambiguity, establish clear operating rhythms, and build alignment across product, data, and technology functions.
Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
