We are seeking an experienced Director of B2B Marketing to lead a team responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives within the nonprofit sector, with a primary focus on Healthcare and Higher Education. Reporting to the VP of TEM Marketing this role requires expertise in B2B marketing, including Account-Based Marketing (ABM), demand generation, lead nurture strategies, thought leadership activation, integrated marketing, media planning, and sales enablement, coupled with a strong track record of leading cross-functional initiatives and delivering results in complex matrixed organizations.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within these industries and the ability to develop proactive, data-driven marketing programs that align marketing objectives with business growth goals across Sales and Relationship Management teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute integrated B2B marketing strategies that drive awareness, demand generation, pipeline growth, client retention, and market expansion within the nonprofit sector, with a focus on Healthcare and Higher Education.
- Lead Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies for priority prospects and clients, partnering closely with Sales and Relationship Management teams to deepen relationships, accelerate opportunities, and support business growth.
- Design and optimize lead nurture journeys across the prospect and client lifecycle, leveraging data, segmentation, and personalized content to increase engagement, conversion, and long-term client value.
- Partner closely with the B2C Marketing Director to identify and activate B2B2C opportunities that connect institutional client objectives with participant engagement outcomes, creating aligned go-to-market strategies that maximize value for organizations and the individuals they serve.
- Own integrated marketing plans that leverage the full channel mix—including digital, email, content, social media, webinars, events, field marketing, and sales enablement—to deliver measurable business outcomes and support strategic growth priorities.
- Partner closely with Content and Analytics teams to co-create, activate, and measure thought leadership, market insights, case studies, client success stories, and other content that strengthens Fidelity’s market position, supports business development efforts, and demonstrates client impact.
- Collaborate across Workplace, including Sales, Relationship Management, Consulting, Product, and other key business partners, to align marketing strategies with client needs and business priorities, while leading a high-performing team and leveraging data-driven insights to drive innovation and marketing effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 12 plus years of experience, or Master's degree with 10 plus years of experience.
- Proven experience leading B2B marketing strategies, preferably within nonprofit, healthcare, higher education, financial services, or related industries.
- Demonstrated success with integrated marketing, demand generation, Account-Based Marketing (ABM), lead nurture strategies, and sales enablement programs.
- Strong ability to partner with Sales, Relationship Management, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive business growth and client engagement.
- Strategic and analytical mindset with the ability to leverage market insights, customer data, and performance metrics to inform decision-making.
- Experience developing case studies, client success stories, and content activation strategies that support business objectives.
- Excellent communication, executive presence, and leadership skills, including comfort presenting to and influencing senior leaders.
- Proven ability to lead teams, drive innovation, challenge the status quo, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
