We are seeking a Group Head of Digital & Data Strategy to lead and scale our core technical strategic disciplines: SEO, UX, Development, Martech, and Data Science/Reporting. This is a role for a visionary leader and hands-on builder who can transform insights into action, technology into results, and teams into growth engines.

As the senior-most leader of these disciplines, you will set the strategic direction, ensure operational excellence, and foster innovation across the group. You will advance our established practices in development, UX, and SEO, while also defining the vision, business case, and roadmap for Martech and Data Science/Reporting—disciplines that are central to the agency’s future growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership across SEO, UX, Development, Martech, and Data Science/Reporting, aligning resources and capabilities to client and agency growth.
  • Advance the performance and maturity of our existing development, UX, and SEO practices, ensuring they remain best-in-class.
  • Build the case, roadmap, and operating model for Martech and Data Science, positioning them as core, scalable disciplines within the agency.
  • Anticipate industry shifts and translate them into actionable roadmaps, new service offerings, and refined methodologies.
  • Partner with agency leadership to develop profitable scopes, competitive estimates, and effective resource planning to maintain strong revenue-to-staff ratios.
  • Collaborate on new business opportunities, contributing compelling strategic input and confidently presenting capabilities to prospective clients.
  • Build high-performing teams through thoughtful staffing, professional development, and career pathways that drive retention and prepare talent for future needs.
  • Champion integration by ensuring your disciplines connect seamlessly with the broader marketing mix, delivering cohesive and impactful client solutions.
  • Lead with a builder’s mindset—identifying challenges early, designing scalable solutions, and rolling up your sleeves when needed (“everyone sweeps the floor”).

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience in digital strategy, data-driven marketing, or technical leadership roles within an agency or consultancy environment.
  • Proven success leading multidisciplinary teams across SEO, UX, development, martech, and data analytics.
  • Strong business acumen with experience building cases for new services and aligning them to client needs and agency profitability.
  • Expertise in digital ecosystems and data-driven strategies that fuel client growth.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and client-facing skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to balance long-term vision with day-to-day execution.
