Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 10 years of experience in product management, management consulting, private equity, mergers and acquisitions, business strategy or strategy operations
  • Experience with people management

Preferred qualifications:

  • Product or technical management experience
  • Knowledge of leveraging the power of data and analytics
  • Ability to translate business problems into easily understood solutions and functional requirements
  • Ability to establish relationships, influence, and collaborate at all organizational levels and with various cross-functional technical and business partners
  • Proficiency with SQL

The Business Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.

The Global Sales Tools team (GST) is responsible for improving business efficiency and effectiveness by building consumer-grade tools. The Go-to-Market Operations organization, the umbrella organization for GST, provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive partnerships and new initiatives forward.

As a Global Product Manager, you will manage a team of Global Product Leads that provide scaled tooling support for the Google advertising sales organization. You will represent critical business needs through internal sales tools. You understand the sales business intimately, drive sales tool strategy, and prioritization with product, engineering and sales. You will work as a connecting tissue between sales, product and engineering to deliver a unified, trusted, and intelligent tooling suite to Google sales teams.

The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $215,000-$315,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Oversee a team of Global Product Leads to deliver unified, trusted, and intelligence tool experience.
  • Identify key areas for process improvements and enhancements, supporting sales.
  • Be the expert of sales operation, use the knowledge to devise the long-term tools direction, and influence the product management/engineering partners.
  • Identify and invest in strategic partnerships to gain holistic understanding of the Ads industry and Google business strategy and identify the most important business challenges to solve.
  • Manage and oversee the implementation of technical solutions, evaluate infrastructure challenges, and identify opportunities to improve system design.
