Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in public policy, government affairs/relations, or policy development.
  • 10 years of experience working in the cybersecurity discipline.
  • Ability to hold and maintain a Top Secret national security clearance.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience developing and launching policy campaigns/initiatives, policy position papers, or industry initiatives.
  • Experience in providing consultative services to government officials, including at the U.S. federal level.
  • Experience in direct policy, including for cybersecurity-related policy issues.
  • Experience building and maintaining strategies for public policy programs, to include thought leadership activities, advocating for special interests, and business intelligence activities.
  • Understanding of various U.S. legislative and regulatory processes.
  • Ability to manage and communicate effectively with executive government officials and C-Level clients.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $143,000-$219,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Identify key areas of cybersecurity policy focus and provide support to the executive leader of Government Strategy, Policy, and Partnerships in building a company-wide strategy and plans to timely address any relevant cybersecurity issues in the U.S.
  • Conduct ongoing cybersecurity policy analyses by monitoring and analyzing current and emerging public policy issues impactful to GPS and Mandiant, its customers, and the cybersecurity community on related cybersecurity policies.
  • Coordinate with GPS business units, and Mandiant Intelligence to identify key customers and prospects to drive priorities and focus areas for cybersecurity policy analyses and business intelligence activities.
  • Prepare executive Leaders for Government Strategy, Policy, and Partnerships and analysts for meetings with government officials and customers.
  • Work closely with the Communications team to support various cybersecurity events, including the development of presentation materials.
