Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in marketing, product marketing, or a similar role.
  • Experience with advertising campaign measurement.
  • Experience working cross-functionally across Regional/Global teams.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Knowledge of digital advertising, including ads ecosystem and current trends.
  • Ability to build relationships with executives, influence product and business decisions, and drive cross-functional alignment on marketing plans.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analysis, and written/verbal communication skills.

About the job

Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the representation of the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

In this role, you will drive adoption, best practices, and awareness for products and Google Ads business. You will partner with Product and Sales leaders to develop research, content, and programming .

We’re made up of multiple teams, building Google’s Advertising products including search, display, shopping, travel and video advertising, as well as analytics. Our teams create trusted experiences between people and businesses with useful ads. We help grow businesses of all sizes from small businesses, to large brands, to YouTube creators, with effective advertiser tools that deliver measurable results. We also enable Google to engage with customers at scale.

Additional Information:

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $105,000-$154,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Drive customer research, insights, product positioning, proof points, best practices to drive adoption of app campaigns.
  • Discover user insights that influence product roadmap and inform product marketing projects towards achieving our goals.
  • Plan and launch global marketing programs to drive product adoption.
  • Build strategic initiatives to grow app ads business for emerging verticals and align with executive cross-functional leadership on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
