Media & Analytics Co-op

Gupta Media

Gupta Media

Marketing & Communications, Data Science
Boston, MA, USA
USD 20-24 / hour
Posted on Feb 13, 2026

Gupta Media was founded over 25 years ago on the idea that advertising could create huge leverage in our clients' businesses. Our early work was focused on the entertainment industry, specifically live events (Boston Calling, among others) and recorded music (Sony Music, Universal Music, & Disney are all clients). We have dramatically grown our work with big brands (Amazon, Fender) and sports brands (Cleveland Cavaliers, Washington Commanders, Florida Panthers). We have a global client base with a growing local roster across B2B and B2C brands for campaign, content, and branding assignments.

We are seeking a Media & Analytics Co-op for the Fall 2026 cycle (July 1 – December 18). This role is designed for quantitatively-minded students who want to move beyond basic administrative tasks and dive deep into the mechanics of performance marketing. You will work in-person at our Boston office, receiving hands-on mentorship while managing real-world paid media campaigns in Google, Meta, Snapchat, and TikTok advertising platforms.

The Role

As a Co-op, you will be trained to become proficient in the platforms and analytics that drive modern advertising.

  • Master Digital Platforms: Gain hands-on experience building, optimizing, and managing campaigns across digital search & social media.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Use Excel and Google Sheets to analyze campaign performance. You’ll apply formulas and functions to uncover trends and calculate key metrics like CPM, CPC, and CPA.
  • Strategic Research: Conduct deep-dives into digital trends and competitor landscapes to assist in building comprehensive media plans.
  • Storytelling with Numbers: Learn to interpret complex datasets and translate them into actionable insights for client reports and team brainstorm sessions.
  • Creative Support: Assist analysts with copywriting and ad mock-ups, ensuring that creative assets are backed by data-driven logic.

Who You Are

We are looking for ambitious, problem-solving students who possess a passion for precision. If you enjoy predicting outcomes (be it a fantasy league or Dancing with the Stars), you’ll feel right at home.

  • You must have at least one previous internship or co-op (preferably in a professional office or analytical environment).
  • You are a current undergraduate junior or senior with a minimum 3.2 GPA.
  • You have a solid working knowledge of spreadsheets (basic functions and formulas) and aren't intimidated by large datasets.
  • You can communicate with confidence and have a knack for explaining the "why" behind the numbers.
  • You thrive in fast-paced environments, manage multiple priorities with ease, and have a drive to keep asking "what’s next?"

Compensation & Logistics

  • Pay: $20-$24 per hour.
  • Commitment: You are available to work 32–40 hours per week in-person at our Boston office.
  • Timeline: July 1, 2026 – December 18, 2026.
  • Academic Credit: We will partner with you to satisfy Northeastern's co-op requirements, including establishing learning goals, providing a mentor, and completing necessary performance reflections.
