Our 10-week Junior Fellowship Program is designed to offer opportunities to work with and learn from some of the most innovative thinkers in the advertising industry.
Our Junior Fellows gain industry experience while working in a collaborative hybrid work environment. As a Junior Fellow, you will receive exposure to various client work, events and many learning and development opportunities.
The program will begin on Monday, June 10th and end on Thursday, August 15th. All Junior Fellows will be working in a hybrid capacity and will be required to be in the office 3 days per week, consistent with their teams and agency. This is a full-time opportunity at 40 hours per week. The payrate for this position is $18/hour.
Havas Media Junior Fellows are current students, who either have one more year of undergrad or are in their final year at a 2-year institution.

Job Description :
SUMMER JUNIOR FELLOW, MEDIA (Mx) PLANNING
Mx Planning is entrusted with creating a meaningful media experience for all stakeholders – consumers, clients and the broader population. This entails allocating resources, developing ideas, and building campaigns that drive marketing performance, brand equity, cultural change, and ethical media practices. Mx Planning integrates input from Strategy and Analytics to guide Investment Teams to a balanced, performance-driven portfolio.

As a Junior Fellow, the Mx Planning position represents a gateway to a career in media, advertising, technology, analytics or marketing. You will develop skills that enable you to work well within a team and prepare you to face the detail-oriented environment that is modern advertising. As an integrator, you will need to be brave and develop your own POV, but also appreciate the contributions of others. It requires creativity, resourcefulness, accountability and initiative. The Mx Planning Junior Fellow is expected to be an active participant in meetings, support analysis, develop ideas and build presentations.
A DAY IN THE LIFE MIGHT LOOK LIKE:
Work closely with Mx Planner, participate in the development and management of cross channel media plans – detailing media investment by channel, by week, by day, time period, etc.
Contribute to the development of Meaningful Media Ideas through active participation in the ideation and synthesis process
Develop approaches to support equitable and ethical media investment
Support the open solicitation of ideas, whether old, new, established, emerging, mainstream or fringe
Generate and present data-supported recommendations in written, spreadsheet or presentation formats
Learn and use planning tools to define audiences, select channels, select partners, define phasing and optimize
Liaise between Investment teams to ensure plans are on schedule and elements are completed
Liaise with Strategy Team to package guidelines for Investment Teams to include in RFP process
Assist in development of cross channel media plans that specify which channels to use to effectively engage the target audience(s)
Collaborate with Analytics team to forecast and optimize outcomes via advanced modeling and machine learning
Prepare and update media flowcharts, help manage plan approval, media authorization and media buy specs
Assist with tracking media expenditures to ensure agency and client budget compliance
Compile and analyze primary, secondary and third-party research
Collaborate with client-leadership on client deliverables
Stay informed of relevant and emerging consumer trends, media platforms/channels, industry innovation, culture and competitive activity
Collaborate with Analytics, Strategy and Investment on meaningful Learning Plans
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word/Docs, Excel/Sheets, and PowerPoint/Slides)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for frequent contact with the Strategy, Analytics and Investments teams
